Gilead’s independent Research Scholarship Program in Oncology, Solid Tumors support innovative clinical, translational and basic research from early career investigators around the world. We believe that new, diverse voices and research topics are needed to advance scientific knowledge in areas of unmet medical need and create a healthier world.
Gilead is currently offering the Solid Tumors program that is focused only on Breast, Lung and Bladder cancer research for this cycle.
The program provides 3 awards to investigators from Europe (all countries), Australia and Canada. Each successful applicant is awarded $180,000 USD for a 2-year period, paid directly to their institution in annual instalments of $90,000 USD. The program is overseen by a scientific review committee composed of experts in the field who review and select all applicants independently from Gilead.
