This joint International Research Symposium will feature speakers from University of Manchester (UoM), Shanghai Jiao-tong University School of Medicine, (SJTUSM) and CLARA network.
This symposium is an ideal opportunity to explore international collaboration opportunities on the area of Cancer research and notably Immuno-and Neuro-oncology. It will also facilitate the matching of PIs and students participating in the event.
This in-person tripartite symposium will be held on November 7 and 8, 2024, in Lyon.
PROGRAM:
Opening by Prof. Pierre Hainaut (President, Cancéropôle CLARA)
- Cancer session: Decoding cancer evolution through genomics, spatio-temporal analysis and characterization of the environment or long non-coding RNAs
- Regional speaker: Dr. Paul Brennan (International Agency for Research on Cancer)
- Immunology session: Analysis of the complexity of inflammation, notably through the involvement of T lymphocytes, NK cells and macrophages.
- Regional speakers: Dr. Julien Marie (Cancer Research Centre of Lyon), Dr. Thierry Walzer (International Center for Infectious Disease Research)
- Neurology session: Different technological approaches to brain tumors at nano and preclinical levels, cortical plasticity and genetics
- Regional speakers: Dr. Anne-Laure Bulin (Institute for Advanced Biosciences), Dr. Erika Cosset (Cancer Research Centre of Lyon)
