The Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CLARA) and the North East Regional Innovative Cluster for Structural and Molecular Imaging (Imago-Mol) have signed an official partnership agreement.
This agreement expands the collaborations that the two partners have established towards building consortia for EU Horizon 2020 and COSME programs, following a Cluster2Cluster mission which took place in November 2019 in Lyon to foster interactions between key actors from both Regions.
The partnership is set to promote institutional exchanges, organizing events such as conferences, symposia, brokerage events, to develop joint applications to international funding programs and to stimulate networking between researchers, developers, entrepreneurs, and investors in both Regions.
“We are very pleased to conclude this partnership as it is in line with our latest interests in developing mutual projects on precision medicine in cancerology and on setting up international partnerships with relevant and outstanding organizations”, stated Dr. Vasile Fotea, President of IMAGO-MOL Cluster.
“Molecular imaging is a field of exceptional for innovation in precision cancer medicine. This strengthened international partnership will enhance the visibility and outreach of research performed in CLARA and Imago-mol networks, for the benefit of cancer patients”, stated Pr Pierre Hainaut, President of CLARA.
